The Fight for Life CUP 

Fight for Life Cup

In addition to competing for the Chipd In National Championship, Golfers will also be competing for the Fight for Life Cup in Orlando.  It will be conducted concurrently and may be won by the same player.

Eligibility:

-Golfers who have played a minimum of 3 events in both the Spring and Summer Series, who have qualified for the Chipd In National Championship.

-In addition to Golfers who play both the Spring and Summer Series, the top 25 finishers in the Summer Championship single event, not already exempt for the National Championship, who meet the minimum 3 event rule for the Summer Series as outlined in the Rules.   

The following is the starting leaderboard weighted positions at the National Championship in order of total point rankings (for golfers that play both the Spring and Summer) only applicable for the Fight for Life Cup (Chipd In National Championship will be normal net scoring) :

  1st                     -10

  2-5                       -9

  6-10                     -8

 11-15                    -7

 16-20                    -6

 21-25                    -5

 26-30                    -4

 31-35                    -3

 36-40                    -2 

 41-45                    -1

 46 and above        E

In addition to Golfers who play both the Spring and Summer Series as noted above, the top 25 finishers in the Summer Championship single event, not already exempt for the National Championship, who meet the minimum 3 event rule for the Summer Series, will have a weighted starting position on the Fight for Life Cup leaderboard as follows:

1-5                          +1

6-10                        +2

11-15                      +3

16-20                      +4

21-25                      +5 

The FFL Cup will be awarded to the Player with the lowest NET score after 36 holes. With the presentation of the perpetual Fight for Life Cup, the Champion and their companion will receive the trip of a lifetime - 7 day/6 night Ireland Golf Trip in 2023 in conjunction with Perry Golf and Links Magazine as outlined below:
