ACCESS of Wilmington is a nonprofit organization that operates six different programs eliminating barriers to health and wellness through sports, recreation and fitness for those in our community with disabilities. ACCESS of Wilmington started in 2008 to raise funds to build The Miracle Field and Kiwanis Miracle Playground in Wilmington, North Carolina and building community for children, adults, and veterans with disabilities by eliminating barriers to health and wellness through adapted sports, recreation, and fitness.
Adaptive Golfers is bringing the game of Golf to all with different abilities thorough our Resources, including Virtual and online teaching courses for Golf and Allied Health and Rehabilitative Industries, our adaptive golf clinics, youth adaptive golf, motivational expositions, and first responders and veterans adaptive golf clinics. We provide quarterly updates covering adaptive golf resources, trends, latest techniques, and inspirational stories. We work with manufacturers and other organizations to help people with challenges discover the wonders and therapeutic values of Golf.
Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation is changing the lives of children with cancer by funding impactful research, raising awareness, supporting families and empowering everyone to help cure childhood cancer. Every day, 700 children worldwide are diagnosed with childhood cancer. Yet, childhood cancer research only receives less than 4-percent of the National Cancer Institute’s annual budget. It is up to all of us to fund research and find cures, so that someday these children are cured.

One million military and veteran family members use our programs and resources each year. We are the source for all things military family related and offer a constantly growing resource with chapters and members across the country.
Cancer Family Care Foundation for fifty years has been providing support for cancer patients and their families in the Cincinnati, Ohio-Northern Kentucky area. Our mission is to strengthen the well-being and alleviate the suffering of any child, adult, or family coping with cancer by providing therapeutic counseling, education, support, and hope to children, adults and families touched by cancer.
Colorectal Cancer Alliance believes colorectal cancer is a senseless killer that must be stopped. Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption is about finding forever families for children in foster care. Every day, more than 50 youth age out of foster care without a permanent family. Children enter foster care through no fault of their own because of abuse or neglect. They deserve a safe, loving home. As the Founder Dave Thomas said “These children are not some else’s responsibility. They are our responsibility.” Our signature programs: Wendy’s Wonderful Kids, Adoption friendly workplace, National Adoption Day, and Awareness.
Emily’s Entourage is the only non-profit organization dedicated to fast-tracking research and drug development for rare, nonsense mutations of Cystic Fibrosis. Started in 2011 on Emily’s family’s living room floor, EE has raised over $10 million to support life-saving breakthroughs — and it’s all because of the endless passion and power of our Entourage. Feed the Children In our day-to-day lives, hunger is often hard to see, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there. Sadly, both in the United States and around the world, hunger is everywhere. With the increased hardship children and families have faced since the outbreak of COVID-19, in 2021 it was estimated that as many as 1 in 6 children in the U.S. was food insecure — meaning that they didn’t always know how they would get their next meal. Malnutrition is the single largest contributor to disease in the world. 5 million children under the age of 5 die of malnutrition issues every year. Your support provides Feed the Children with the resources to save the lives of children everywhere.

First Responders Children’s Foundation supports the children and families of our first responder heroes who risk their lives every day in service to our communities. Our programs target areas where first responders and their families are most challenged, and where resources of the Foundation can have the most impact in the areas of scholarships, Financial assistance, and bereavement assistance. We have been supporting first responder children and their families for twenty years.
First Tee began as a partnership among the major golf governing bodies in America, to make golf affordable and accessible for all kids. As we introduced the game, we also introduced a life skills curriculum that supported the development of values found within the game of golf, including honesty, integrity, perseverance and respect. Now, for over two decades we’ve been committed to helping kids build character strengths and important life skills through the game and providing all kids with access to opportunities for personal growth in a fun and safe environment.
Florida Breast Cancer Foundation We improve the lives of those in Florida with breast cancer and give hope where there is none. We value integrity. We believe in evidence-based science. We advocate with perseverance, compassion, and respect for those who have no voice. We are passionate about our mission to save the lives of those impacted by breast cancer by supporting scientific research, community education, public policy through advocacy, and community-based organizations. Food Brings Hope, inc. (FBH) was founded in 2007 by local businesswoman and philanthropist, Forough B. Hosseini. FBH is a 501(c)3 public charity dedicated to providing collaborative solutions for children who experience hardships due to homelessness, hunger and poverty. FBH’s Mission is to nurture the body, mind, and spirit of underprivileged school children and create a community where they are given an opportunity to discover their full potential. In 2022, FBH is serving over 1,500 students, enrolled in its 43 programs at 32 schools in Volusia and Flagler Counties in Florida.
The Florida Cancer Specialists (FCS) Foundation provides financial support to qualified adult cancer patients in the state of Florida for expenses such as rent or mortgage, car payments and car insurance, and utility bills. By giving patients peace of mind in knowing that their bills are being paid while they are undergoing treatment, the FCS Foundation allows them to concentrate on what really matters – fighting cancer. 100% of donations received go directly towards paying the essential non-medical living expenses of an adult battling cancer.
Greater National Advocates is a public service nonprofit determined to improve the patient experience. We know the importance of having someone in your corner during a health crisis. Our trusted online portal allows patients and their loved ones to quickly connect with an independent knowledgeable Patient Advocate who has experience dealing with hospitals, insurance companies, doctors and long term facilities.
Healing 4 Heroes is dedicated to assisting our military service members and veterans lead healthy, productive lives. Our objective is to connect wounded service members, as well as those with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Traumatic Brain Injury, with A.D.A. compliant service dogs. Healing4Heroes™ has dual purposes in that it serves the community by helping military personnel and veterans as well as local animal shelters by rescuing suitable dogs. Our military personnel and veterans, after being wounded both physically and mentally, are able to move forward and live more productive lives with the assistance of service animals.
H.E.R.O.E.S Care is an affiliation of program partners working together to provide support to military families in the communities where they live. H.E.R.O.E.S. Care combines the power of national organizations dedicated to providing emergency financial aid, employment opportunities, and mental health care services through a network of specially trained care givers before, during, and after deployment.
Homes for our Troops builds and donates specially adapted custom homes nationwide for severely injured post 911 & veterans, to enable them to rebuild their lives. These homes restore some of the freedom our veterans sacrificed while defending our country and enables them to focus on their family, recovery and rebuilding their lives. Since 2004, we have built homes where the veteran chooses to live and continue our relationship with the veterans after home delivery to assist them in rebuilding their lives.
I AM a Golfer Foundation provides affordable, quality instruction, playing opportunities, and mentoring for local junior golfers. Under this program, local youth, ages 7 to 18, are given an opportunity to learn the game of golf in a fun and competitive atmosphere; enhancing their skills on and off the golf course. In addition, the Foundation offers scholarships to students who participate in the I AM a Golfer Foundation's Internship Program and to local Dallas Independent School District students who participate in the Northern Texas PGA Junior Golf Foundation's Fairway to Success Program.
Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America is a community of 425,000+ members, the vanguard of the veteran’s movement and the most powerful network of veterans on the planet. Knights of Heroes Foundation was founded in 2007 by Lieutenant Colonel (Ret) Steve Harold to commemorate and honor the life of a friend and fellow pilot, Major Troy Lee “Trojan” Gilbert who was killed during combat operations while flying his F-16 to protect ground troops being overrun by the enemy in Al-Anbar Province, Iraq. We host families with children between the ages of 11 and 17 with common losses at our camp in Colorado. We empower children who have a lost a parent in service to our Nation by providing adult mentorship, character development, and lasting friendships through outdoor adventure programs. In 2015, our new Camp home became a 118 acre property on the west slope of Pikes Peak.

Fox Foundation’s (MJFF) agenda is focused on building improved knowledge about the lived experience of Parkinson's disease, finding an objective test for Parkinson’s, engaging patients in research, supporting the development of new treatments and a cure.
Michigan Ovarian Cancer Alliance was established in 2011 to save the lives of women and girls by promoting the early detection of ovarian cancer and improved treatment outcomes. MIOCA raises awareness of ovarian cancer, provides resources and support to survivors and their families, advocates both locally and federally, educates Michigan communities, and funds innovative ovarian cancer research. The Alliance leads the nation in advocating policies, legislation, research, and programs that increase our understanding of the cause and prevention of ovarian cancer and will ultimately improve the survival rate of patients facing this challenge.
Melanoma Research Foundation is the largest independent organization devoted to melanoma. Committed to the support of medical research in finding effective treatments and eventually a cure for melanoma, the MRF also educates patients and physicians about prevention, diagnosis and the treatment of melanoma. The MRF is an active advocate for the melanoma community, helping to raise awareness of this disease and the need for a cure. The MRF’s website is the premier source for melanoma information seekers. National Breast Cancer Foundation is recognized as one of the leading breast cancer organizations in the world. National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) is Helping Women Now® by providing early detection, education and support services to those affected by breast cancer. A recipient of Charity Navigator’s highest 4-star rating for 15 years, NBCF provides support through their National Mammography Program, Patient Navigation, breast health education, and patient support programs. NBCF offers free, innovative programs that other organizations aren’t providing to women facing breast cancer so that no one faces breast cancer alone.
National Fallen Firefighters Foundation honors and remembers America’s fallen fire heroes, provides resources to assist their families in rebuilding their lives and works with the fire service community to reduce firefighter deaths and injuries. The United States Congress created the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation to lead a nationwide effort to remember America’s fallen firefighters. Ovarian Cancer Connection is awareness, education and support--The OCC has been raising awareness about ovarian and other gynecological cancers across NW Ohio and SE Michigan for over 15 years. For the women and families affected by these cancers, we provide resources, education, and financial support. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, our funds raised stay here locally to support our mission. The OCC is an organization dedicated to helping women and families in treatment.
PAN Foundation envisions a nation in which everyone can get the healthcare they need. The challenge is the inability to pay for essential medical care is not just a significant problem for the uninsured, but also for people who have health insurance. Payne Stewart Golf Camps & Learning Leagues give parents a faith-based, character-building sporting alternative that teaches kids the fundamentals of golf and life. We strive to introduce more kids and families to the fun of golf by generating funds that help rewrite golf instruction, provide training equipment and techniques, and expand the locations where golf is played. Kids get to experience a fun, games-based golf learning experience while developing basic golf skills through repetitive play, simple games, and multi-sport reinforcement.
Play4Autism Foundation connects children with Autism to Sports and Recreational Activities. Play4Autism is a NYC based organization that seeks to increase the public's awareness and acceptance of autism, while improving the quality of life and hope for children. We will achieve this goal by introducing children on the autism spectrum and their families to our Kidz into Action Program.
PTSD Foundation of America brings hope and healing to Combat Veterans and their families suffering from the effects of combat related Post Traumatic Stress. We do this by offering evidence based peer to peer mentoring, both on an individual basis and in group settings. We also provide housing to Combat Veterans who are going through our mentoring and group programs at no cost to the Veteran. We also raise awareness of the increasing needs of the military community through events, media outlets, service organizations and churches and we network with government agencies and others to bring their combined resources together in a “Corps of Compassion” to meet the needs of the military community.

Sandy Rollman Ovarian Cancer Foundation is an organization created as a tribute to the life, character, and immense strength of Sandy Rollman. Sandy passed away from advanced ovarian cancer in May 2000. Prior to diagnosis, Sandy experienced many textbook symptoms. Her symptoms were whispering only no one was listening. The tragic result was that Sandy never had a chance against ovarian cancer. It is in Sandy’s memory and the memory of all women who have succumbed to this
insidious disease, that we have dedicated our efforts to help conquer ovarian cancer for the last 20 years.

Shriners Children’s Shriners Hospital for Children is changing lives every day through innovative pediatric specialty care, world-class research and outstanding medical education. The Shriners health care system provides advanced care for children with orthopedic conditions, burns, cleft lip/palate, and spinal cord injuries and every child is provided the best care possible regardless of their families’ ability to pay. Shriners care spans 22 locations throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico and depends on the generosity of thousands of donors throughout the world to continue to serve children in need.
St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Its purpose is clear: Finding cures. Teal Diva Foundation celebrates victories, honors memories, empowers, women, educates the community and funds diagnostic research for ovarian and other gynecologic cancers. As unbelievable as it is, there is currently not an accurate screening test for ovarian cancer and we are committed to making a difference in the health of women facing this disease by creating a sense of belonging.
The Honorable Tina Brozman Foundation for Ovarian Cancer Research (Tina’s Wish) is an ovarian cancer non-profit organization dedicated to funding groundbreaking scientific research for the prevention and early detection of ovarian cancer. Know Early. Know Hope.® This is our mission. Tina’s Wish was founded in 2008 in memory of the Honorable Tina Brozman, former chief judge of the SDNY Bankruptcy Court, who died two years after she was diagnosed – too late – with ovarian cancer. Tina was not angry that she had the disease, she was angry that she did not know sooner.
Women Who Care is an alliance of women who are impacting their community through streamlining fundraising events for nonprofit agencies in their community. Pledged members have the opportunity to nominate a nonprofit and place their selection in the ballot box. A meeting occurs where each nomination made by the pledged member is presented. At the conclusion of the meeting, the nonprofit with the most votes receives the donations directly from the members.
